Create Some Change Photo Contest
The votes are in! Congratulations Bridget McDougall of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, the winner of our “Create Some Change” photo contest. Her winning photo captures the spirit of adventure and encourages learning through exploration. Bridget says it best:

Change to me, means to perserve what for so long we have been forgetting. Your past, where you came from, the simplest things in life. Our lives change so much from day to day we all need to take time and get back to our roots. Like the shed in this picture that my Papaw spent so much time building, it has changed so much with time. He had added things along the way, moved things around, and things were removed when he passed away. Just like the shed my Papaw had changed over time and now that hes gone the shed is a symbol of him. Everytime I look at it I cant help but be proud of it and him.

To me, nature is the biggest representation of change, especially when the leaves change color and fall. It reminds me of being a kid and walking through the leaves. Everything has a cycle and a plan, everything changes, but there can be real beauty in that change.
